obnoxia

It isn't even 7 am and the construction workers are at it out front. Sure, I want them to be done and gone, but what the fuck is wrong with those people. Yes I need to be up for work anyway, but really.

Going to Atlanta next month. Any ideas?

Yeah, we had the same thing happen to us a while ago. When we first moved here - it turned out that part of our house was about to fall off the mountain and had to have the master bathroom and pantry hitched up and reattached. The construction guys showed up at various awkward times, often giving me no warning or even saying "hi" to me first (which was a little unnerving if I was in the shower or whatever.)

The funny thing is that the very first time I experienced a California earthquake - I thought it was the construction workers hitching up the house at first and I irritably thought "I really wish they'd give me some kind of warning before they started working." But of course after about five minutes - I realized it wasn't the construction workers and was worried about the rest of the house falling down the mountain.

I hope it doesn't last too much longer for you. I know how frustrating it can be when your peace of mind is constantly interrupted by the loud noises of various power tools.
